Jesús Ruiz Velasco, founder of RUIZ VELASCO IMMIGRATION LAW, focuses exclusively on Immigration and Nationality matters, Jesús represents both individuals and companies helping them navigate the U.S. immigration process.

His extensive knowledge and experience coupled with his commitment to the immigrant community lead to being named as legal counsel to the Government of Mexico within the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago.
Jesús is a devoted advocate of both the Dreamers and the LGBT community. By volunteering at community workshops and speaking to the press he has helped many immigrants obtain benefits pursuant to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (“DACA”).

Often called upon by the press, Jesús participates and hosts events for the purpose of educating the immigrant community to empower them and most importantly prevent fraud. Member of many legal and professional organizations including 13-years as part of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA). Jesús is active in the leadership of AILA currently serving in the Liaison Committees of both the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE).
